This month’s cocktail is a classic that is elegant, visually pleasing and floral. The Aviation is a classic gin drink from the early 1900’s that has the perfect balance of bitter, sour, sweet and floral that would make a perfect cocktail for ringing in the upcoming new year with your guests, family or friends. It is both delicious and elegant looking when served in a coupe glass with its signature violet/blue hue. Ingredients:
- Bombay Sapphire Gin (or your favorite dry Gin)
- Crème de Violette
- Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
- Lemon (fresh squeezed)
- Luxardo Cherries (garnish)

Directions:
- Chill coupe glass
- Fill cocktail shaker with ice
- Add ingredients for one cocktail.
- Bombay Sapphire Gin – 2oz
- Crème de Violette – ½ oz
- Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur – ½ oz
- Fresh squeezed lemon juice ½ oz
- Shake cocktail until cold (15 seconds)
- Strain drink using oxo cocktail strainer (liquid only) into chilled coupe glass
- Garnish with single luxardo cherry on cocktail pick
